A sculptural dialogue between hip-hop culture and contemporary street spirit.

D-REX draws inspiration from classic 1990s street dance symbols and the signature movements of Huang Jingxing. Through a contemporary artistic lens, the work freezes a moment of street dance into sculptural form, preserving both the dynamic energy of movement and the attitude of hip-hop culture.

The figure wears a T-Rex-inspired streetwear hoodie, combining playful visual identity with a strong sculptural presence. Its silver aluminum alloy finish gives the work a futuristic, metallic texture, while the posture retains the rhythm and tension of street dance.

Created through the shared passion for art and street culture between Huang Yulong and Huang Jingxing, D-REX becomes more than a sculpture. It is a cultural symbol that connects dance, youth identity, street fashion, and contemporary art.
